私たちは、現在住んでいる香港を離れて、家族と親しい友人だけのアットホームな結婚式を挙げたいと思っていました。
1年前に現地を見学した際、ピエールマティアーダの美しさに心を奪われ、披露宴会場やガーデンの雰囲気にも惹かれました。
さらに、「プリンスグランドリゾート軽井沢」内のホテルやエンターテイメント施設の便利さ、そして東京からのアクセスの良さも決め手になりました。

Why We Chose Forestana Karuizawa？

Since we live in Hong Kong, we wanted a small, intimate destination wedding with only close family and friends. When we visited the venue a year ago, we were captivated by the beauty of the Chapel Pierre Matiada. The banquet hall and garden were equally stunning, and the convenience of being part of the Prince Grand Resort Karuizawa, with nearby hotels, on-site entertainment, and easy access from Tokyo, made Forestana Karuizawa an obvious choice.

Our Favorite Points

What impressed us most were the Chapel Pierre Matiada Chapel, the lawn outside the main compound, and the garden outside Brinche. Most importantly, Forestana Karuizawa wedding team was incredibly supportive throughout the planning process, even though we were overseas.

衣裳のこだわり

1日のシーンに合わせて、4着のドレスを着用しました。
挙式で着用した1着目のドレスは、オフショルダーのサテン生地を使用した、長いベールと立体的なお花があしらわれたものです。
印象的なシルエットと上品なシンプルさが際立ち、ナチュラルな雰囲気のチャペルとのコントラストがとても美しいと感じ、挙式の衣裳として選びました。
サテンの滑らかな生地はチャペルに差し込む自然光を受けてやわらかく輝き、入場の瞬間をより特別なものにしてくれました。

Dress Highlights

I wore four different dresses throughout the day. For the ceremony, I chose an off-shoulder satin ball gown with a long train and a veil adorned with 3D flowers. Its striking silhouette and the elegant contrast with the chapel’s neutral tones, along with the way the satin reflected the sunlight, made it perfect for the moment.

結婚式のテーマ

私たちは、親しい家族と友人だけで過ごす 温かい雰囲気の結婚式 をテーマにしました。
テーマカラーは ピンク。
ブライズメイドのドレス、チャペル装花、ランチ・ディナー会場の装花、ブーケ、メニュー表・席札など、一貫して柔らかく温かいトーンでまとめました。
披露宴で着たドレスにも、お花のレースモチーフをたくさん取り入れ、テーマと統一感を持たせました。

Wedding Theme

We wanted a warm and intimate celebration with only our closest family and friends. The theme centered around pink florals, reflected in the bridesmaids’ dresses, flower arrangements in the chapel and reception, bouquets, and even the menu and place cards. My lunch reception dress featured lace floral motifs that echoed the theme, creating a soft, warm, and cohesive atmosphere throughout the day.

披露宴で着用した２着目のドレスは、長いトレーンとレースのお花が贅沢にあしらわれたものを選びました。
大小さまざまなお花のモチーフが重なり、動くたびに立体的に揺れるデザインがとても華やかです。
フェイクのオフショルダーで、腕からは二つのレースのケープが流れるように広がり、優雅で柔らかな印象を添えてくれました。
披露宴会場のプライベートガーデンでも動きやすく、ゲストとの交流もスムーズに楽しめた一着です。

For the lunch reception, I wore a lace gown with layered floral motifs and flowing lace cape sleeves, light and airy for moving through the garden and mingling with guests.

結婚式の感想

本当に素晴らしく、最高の1日でした。 準備中は大変なこともありましたが、当日はすべてがうまくいきました。 天気にも恵まれ、スピーチやケーキカットなどガーデンでのプログラムも予定通り行えました。

It was a perfect day. The weather was beautiful, and all outdoor programs, including speeches and cake cutting, went as planned.

The staff at Forestana Karuizawa were amazing. Our coordinator supported us tirelessly for a year, accommodating our requests and checking in to make sure everything went smoothly. They helped with venue setup, adjusted my dress whenever necessary, and guided our family and friends. We were truly impressed by their warmth, helpfulness, and generosity, which made the day stress-free and memorable.

The cuisine was wonderful, and our guests were impressed by the variety, quality, and drink selection.

ディナーブッフェで着用した３着目のドレスは、スパンコールがふんだんに施されたキャップスリーブのドレスを選びました。
前の二着に比べ、よりグラマラスで洗練された雰囲気を楽しみたくて選んだものです。
華やかでありながら動きやすさも十分で、ディナー中もゲストと近い距離でリラックスして過ごすことができました。

During the dinner buffet, I changed into a slim-fit, cap-sleeved gown fully adorned with sequins, glamorous yet comfortable for interacting with guests.

パーティーで大切にしたこと

ゲストにできるだけ負担をかけず、心から楽しんでいただくことを最優先に考えました。
宿泊、料理、エンターテイメント、ギフトなど、細部まで配慮しました。
また、一日を通して雰囲気の変化も楽しんでもらえるよう、挙式では厳粛で誠実に、披露宴では華やかで美しく、ディナーではシックで社交的な雰囲気に。
料理スタイル、席の配置、装い、音楽など、細かい部分までこだわりました。

Party Concept

We wanted our guests to enjoy the day without any worries. We paid attention to every detail, including accommodations, food, entertainment, and souvenirs. We also aimed to create different atmospheres throughout the day: the ceremony was sincere and solemn, the lunch reception was beautiful and grand, and the dinner was chic and social. Food styles, seating arrangements, attire, and music were all carefully selected to enhance these moods and ensure guests felt comfortable and welcomed.

二次会で着用した４着目のドレスは、体にフィットするスパゲッティストラップの白いドレス。
二次会のカジュアルでリラックスした雰囲気に合わせて、軽やかでシンプルなスタイルを選びました。
自然体で楽しみたい二次会にぴったりの一着で、最後まで自分らしく過ごすことができました。

Finally, for the after-party, I wore a white spaghetti-strap cocktail dress, matching the casual and relaxed vibe.
