Features of the Mt.3

Shiga-kogen yakebitaiyama

Spreading out at an altitude of some 2,000 meters, Mt. Yakebitai boasts some of the lightest, driest snow in all of Japan, along with high-quality groomed runs, and ungroomed courses and gladed courses taking advantage of the natural terrain. This is the most varied resort within Shiga Kogen.

Okushiga-kogen

Located deep within Shiga Kogen, the resort is blessed with some of Japan’s best, driest powder—and lots of it. The runs make use of the excellent natural terrain, making every run a new discovery. All around is a tranquil natural setting, making this a resort that offers it all in snow, scenery, scale and even dining.

Madarao-kogen

The resort contains one of Japan’s largest tree-run areas, with ungroomed areas, steep sections, and a course design that follows the natural undulations to create unique lines to explore and a playful feel for every run. Highly praised by skiers and boarders alike, it is packed with the joy of skiing. Mt.3 PASS also allows you to use Tangram Ski Circus.
