Furano:
a Journey
Beyond the Slopes

Enjoy Furano “bonchi powder snow“, some of the finest, driest powder snow in the world, with breathtaking views of spectacular Mt. Tokachi and Mt. Daisetsu. You’ve got lots to enjoy when you’re here: the ropeway accessing long, powder-blessed slopes;
a relaxing resort experience; and easy access to downtown Furano.
A great day on the slopes; an enjoyable evening relaxing at the resort or taking in the local culture—Furano Ski Resort guarantees an outstanding Hokkaido snow experience.

Snow Quality

“bonchi powder“, the deep dry snow increasingly appreciated globally

Furano’s location in inland Hokkaido creates a climate producing dry, exquisite powder snow. As the graph shows, Furano boasts low temperatures and snow with a low water content—ideal conditions for anyone seeking dry, fluffy powder snow (and isn’t that most everyone?).
